Upon arriving at Moto-Hakone Guest House with my family, including our youngest, a toddler under 3 years old, we were thrilled to discover its ideal location near Lake Ashi. Being just a short stroll from major attractions made exploring with our little one a breeze. The convenience extended to the bus stop, crucial for family outings, especially with a child in tow.Our cozy Japanese-style room embraced us warmly, offering a traditional yet comforting ambiance. Despite the thin walls, our sleep remained undisturbed, allowing us to recharge for the next day's adventures. The thoughtful English manual eased any potential uncertainties, ensuring a stress-free stay for families, like ours, seeking both comfort and cultural immersion.Family meals were a delight, with simple yet flavorful options available, complemented by exquisite sake choices. The accommodating host's quiet demeanor masked a genuine willingness to assist, respecting our privacy while catering to our needs. Our stay felt like a true glimpse into Japanese hospitality, welcoming and inclusive, perfect for families eager to experience both the charm of Hakone and the warmth of its people.
